The VAL 2.0 robot is critical to the process, with her ability to print 3D walls with a specialized concrete mix, while skilled subtrades handle other essential tasks such as foundations and roofing.

"Combining the technology of 3D printing with conventional construction is a challenge, especially as we evolve our processes,” continued Lee. “We set reliable benchmarks for what we can confidently produce because on-site, it's about production, not experimentation.”
